Yesterday we read that we were to sow the seeds God provides cheerfully and expectantly, not coveting the seed for ourselves. I love verse 8 because it assures me that when I sow my time, my talents, my gifts, my resources, I do so in total reliance on God's grace. God is able. What are the limits on God's ability? He created the universe from nothing. He speaks worlds into existence. He raises the dead with a command. He stops the sun in its motion. He parts seas. Is anything to difficult for God? So when God tells me to sow bount

1964: Civil Rights Act passes Senate after 83=day filibuster 1966: U.S. bombs Hanoi for the first time Died: Henry Clay, Jayne Mansfield, ana Turner, Katherine Hepburn, Carl Reiner Thought: A few days ago, I was reading 2 Corinthians 6 and thinking about not receiving God's grace in vain, but allowing God's amazing grace to strengthen and guide me through all circumstances with endurance. Chapter 9 has another truth about God's grace as it applies to generosity. 9:7 is a familiar verse to most of us and is usually cited in sermons related to tithing or giving money. In chapter 8, Paul has described the generosity of the Macedonian church as an example to the church at Corinth. The Corinthians had promised to participate in the collection for the saints at Jerusalem, but had not delivered. So in 9:5, Paul explains that he has sent ahead representativ

Yesterday we read that Paul and Jesus urge us to not receive the grace of God in vain, giving no offense in any situation, so that the ministry of the gospel would never be discredited. In the following verses, Paul tell us what that means in daily living. Rather than discrediting the gospel ministry, powered by God's grace I commend/recommend the gospel by serving God--makes you think of Romans 12:1-2--we are transformed, not conformed by the renewing of our minds so that we can prove/demonstrate the perfect will of God. Here are some ways Paul urges us to be good examples of servants of God. Endure with joy and peace . Well, that seems easy to do on most days. But that&#
