Thought:
Read with me Romans 9:23-24 today. We are the vessels of God's mercy, made so that He could demonstrate the riches of His glory. I was not made for my glory and for the glory of anything on this earth. I was made to be a demonstration of God's riches in glory. How does that make you feel. God had many ways of demonstrating His glory--creation declares His glory. But we are His special vessels prepared beforehand [He knew us even before we were conceived and in our mother's womb] to be instruments of His glory.

So, this makes me ask, how am I doing on being an instrument of His glory, His light, His love. We say that we are all created with a purpose and certainly we are. Each has our own calling, our own gifts, our own talents. But we are all created to be evidence of His glory. This makes me ask, does the world see His glory in me. We used to sing that old hymn, "Let Others See Jesus in You."
While passing through this world of sin and others your life shall view
Be clean and pure without, within, let others see Jesus in you
You life's a book before their eyes, they're reading it through and through
Say, does it point them to the skies, do others see Jesus in you?
Then live for Christ both day and night, be faithful, be brave, and true
And lead the lost to life and light, let others see Jesus in you.
Keep telling the story be faithful and true
Let others see Jesus in you.
I think this is what Paul was saying in these verses.

Blessings
Larry
