Thought:
Look at Romans 11:33 this morning. "Oh, the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable His judgments and unfathomable His ways!" Have you ever thought about this verse?

God's wisdom and knowledge are deep and rich. We hear about deep thinkers--but none compare to God. We hear about how deep scientists, theologians, economists, doctors delve into wisdom and understanding. We cannot even talk to them--they speak a different language. Imagine a dinner conversation with Stephen Hawking--we have nothing in common and the thoughts that he has are so far above anything I can think. I can't carry on a conversation with him. My son is an electrical engineer. He tries to explain what he does at the nuclear power plant. I just listen without understanding.  All of us have tried to talk to someone and ended up saying--it's Greek to me. Even trying to understand our grandchildren as they explian our computer or smart phone baffles us.

Now think about God---His wisdom, His understanding, His knowledge are all encompassing. There is no end, no bottom, nothing He does not understand, see and grasp. So here is the amazing part--we can communicate with Him--He can speak to us in words we understand. He can explain things and allow us to see into His reality. And we do not have to go elsewhere for knowledge or wisdom--He has it all and reveals to us what we need to know.

We cannot understand some of His ways. We understand what God chooses to reveal to us. But some things we just can't understand--His ways are not our ways and His thoughts are not our thoughts. I praise God that He does not tell us everything, but only what we need to know for a life filled with joy and peace.

If I can just get this--He has all wisdom and all knowledge. I don't. He loves me and reveals what I need to know.  And I trust Him for everything else. That leads to a life of joy, peace and contentment.

Blessings
Larry
